A Croatian driver and his two passengers cheated death when an airplane landed right on top their car.

Mario Kamber and his two companions escaped with minor injuries when the light aircraft made an emergency landing on a dual carriageway in Sinj in southern Croatia, hitting the top of his car as it came down.
Kamber said he tried to apply on the brakes but still lost control of his car and skidded into the side of the plane which had come to a halt in front of him.

His Volkswagen Passat was a total wreck after the accident.

“I couldn’t believe what was happening,” Kamber said. “There was a huge roar and then the plane landed on top of us, skidded off the roof and onto the road in front of us.
We then slid into the side of it. We were all very lucky.”
