You people have no idea what your talking about. Cops die on a daily basis. Cops are killed everyday. Cops are murdered day in and day out. And its by “ordinary people”. Its by people that think they can break the law and not have to face the consequences. You say cops get away with alot of shit, that may be. But how many times do you go 1 mph over the limit? How many times do you change lanes without signaling? How many laws do you break on a daily basis and get away with it? A cop could give you a ticket for so much stuff its not even funny. You should be thankful for all the stuff you get away with.

its funny, whoever has different views than your own we label as stupid or ignorant.Yet in this case both sides of this argument are proven to be true. While there are many cases of brutality and it is true we are almost always powerless even in a court room. we fail to see that because we are to angry about the speeding ticket we probably deserved it is a tough job and police officers do get a lot of crap. but it is no excuse for some of the beatings I’ve seen what we need to do is go out on the front line with video cameras not guns(yet) because this is the best weapon we have and it is legal to film the cops as long as you don’t interfere with whatever the officer is doing.When they take that away from us then it is time to stock up on ammo:)but until then just be respectfull and tell them the truth even in handcuffs as i have been in numerous times it could get you out of incounters with the police. but most importantly know your rights dont assume what they are and know what the cops can and cant do. peace

Lots of idiots post here I suppose. 1% of cops are assholes ??? ridiculous !! The law enforcement population is subject to the same laws of averages that the general population is. 1 in 5 people are idiots, which means 1 in 5 police are idiots, the only difference is they are idiots with guns , tazers, and night sticks. And far too many police “get off” on the power they think they have over the general public.
If you don’t have video evidence of police brutality or violating your rights given to you by the founding fathers of this country you are just shit out of luck. Cops almost always have each others back reguardless, and judges always take the word of a policeman over a citizen.

“We need to fight to take back our rights”. What a loser. The people who come up with this bullshit are the sorts of people who end up on these videos pretending to be angels and for no reason the cops arrested me (ya sure) and then I was doing everything they asked me to do (ya sure because you werent fighting to take back your rights, which you lost when you broke the law). If you do the crime then just stop complaining and do the time. All you losers complaining about Police but in the time of need dam call 911, 000 I need someone to protect me. People don’t like being told what to do and when you break the law and you are under arresst you get told what to do. You don’t like being told to turn around get on the ground and put your hands behind your back don’t break the law.
Until the day comes and you have to fight for your life as a result of a criminal trying to kill you then you can come and whinge to me. So when a Police officer tells you to show them your hands , show them your god dam hands why is it so hard. In the end the officer wants to deal with the situation calmly. So show him your hands do what he says it is not that hard. If you want to be a braindead dickhead and fight you are probably going to come off second best.

You guys aren’t that smart. First “Fat, lazy pigs”? Seriously, most cops are in good shape.OPf coarse there are some small towns that don’t give a rats ass about how there in shape.

Second, everday a cop puts his life on the line. We know that alot of peolpe are ungrateful and couldn’t care less if some drug head took our lives from our families. Some times, people need to relize, that if you’re resisting there is a chance of a weapon. At then end of the day I want to go home and see my family and friends. It’s okay for some punk to come and assualt me, but if i use a little more force than him, i get sued. It’s BS. And i guarentee, NONE of you got arrested for no reason. You people don’t realize the time and paperwork that involved with it.

Oh, one more thing, you have to get degrees in Criminal Justice to be a cop in alot ofplaces now. So your complete dumbass argument are out of the window.

To those of you who said that you should do whatever a cop asks without questioning, congratulations, you are a fucking moron. True in some situations (when you physical well being is at risk) you should do what the cops say. Most of the time cops are being ignorant, fat, lazy fucks. Cops are here to protect and serve, not to instill fear and beat innocent people unconscious. Citizens are here to keep the gov. in check, in more than our right, it is our duty. Blindly doing what your government told you without questioning it is how fasicm starts. Cops are pigs literally and metaphorically.
