Having a key to a place you want to rob is a good thing but forgetting it along with your ID inside the building you just robbed is not such a good idea.
Silva Schleiter-Doede was arrested and charged with criminal damage after she left her purse inside the JC Penny building she just burglarized.
Schleiter-Doede, a doctor and an ex employee of the optical department store, entered the office during business hours with a key she discovered earlier.
Security tape showed her going from the office to her car and back several times in next couple of hours, carrying items out of the building. Apparently she locked her self out and when she realized that she has forgotten her purse inside she opted for a different approach.
She asked a store employee for help, police said. He brought the ladder and tried to get into the office trough the drop ceiling but decided it was to dangerous and came back. Schleiter-Doede got desperate and decided to try herself. She tried, but ceiling tiles could not support her weight and she fell into the office.
