If you are late for a flight you’r not to take the wheel from your taxy driver, right? Right, unless you are Michael Schumacher.
Cabbie Tuncer Yilmaz watched in awe as the seven-time Formula One world champion, 38, showed him how it’s done.
“I found myself in the passenger seat, which was strange enough, but to have ‘Schumi’ behind the wheel of my cab was incredible,” Mr Yilmaz told German newspaper the Muenchner Abendzeitung.
Schumacher went to pick up a new puppy named Ed in Gehuelz and on the 20 minute journey he felt they were just a little bit short of time and asked Mr Yilmaz if he could take over. Of course the answer was yes.
“He drove at full throttle around the corners and overtook in some unbelievable places,” said a white-knuckled Mr Yilmaz.
On top of the crazy ride and 60 Euro fare Mr Yilmaz got a generous 100 Euro tip.
