The famous jailbreak of 24-year old Wayne Mitchell ended with his arrest when he showed up in his fathers house yesterday. What’s even worse he came in a stolen getaway car.
Mitchell was in the Clark County Jail for a probation-violation warrant.
He escaped after clogging a toilet causing it to overflow. He clogged it and came out saying he needs some towels from the jails van to sop up the mess.
Instead of going to the van, Mitchell walked to nearby G&R Auto Sales, where an employee gave him the keys to a car he said he wanted to look over, And he drove off in red Chevrolet Camaro convertible.
Later officers found his jail-issued clothes at the dealership, about 15 miles north of Louisville, Ky.
He has been returned to jail, Indianapolis authorities said Thursday night.
