Oslo police announced that a secondary school near Oslo was closed after a video warning of a high school massacre was discovered on YouTube.

Creator of the video, a 15 year old Kjenn school student whose name has not been disclosed, has admitted posting the video.

“He has not been arrested (and) he is not in police custody. We will speak with him and his father during the day,” said Loerenskog police chief superintendent Jens Bruun.

The 50-second video, posted on YouTube on Saturday, was removed late yesterday.

With music playing in the background, it showed a picture of the school, Braun said. Pictures of six teachers then popped up, as a voice said: “It will happen one day, it will be a bloody machine, one day you will die.”

Brown refused to comment on the boy’s explanation, but said police did not belive he was in possession of weapons.

“The Kjenn school, some 15km east of Oslo, has about 400 students aged 13 to 17,” Bruun said.

After November 7 when 18-year-old Finnish student Pekka-Eric Auvinen killed eight people before turning his gun on himself at the Jokela High School north of Helsinki several schools have been evacuated and closed due to threats.

Before the massacre on November 7, Auvinen posted videos and messages on YouTube indicating what he planned to do.

There were probably crazy things like this one before, but people couldn’t hear about them because the media wasn’t developed as today.

Now a man needs to be careful with his actions more then ever.

I am not sure that the kid was intending to do it…I believe he is just a poser…a disturbed one that is.

It would be cool if you can get a hold of the video:)

Seems like this is happening more and more… I blame decreasing family values and undelt-with bullying. I’m not going to even move toward violent music–which i know has nothing to do with it, you silly parents–or violent games–which may have some effect, but I won’t try to persuade you. Being school-age myself, I don’t understand kids who would do things like this. Do they have any sense of reality? Of empathy?

Are we sure that child wants to kill someone or is only a joke? All word as been young and all the world has been very bored versus their teachers, or family, or society, but not all the world becomes killer or similar. Education si made for that one and We must remember in Europe is very hard for a kid buy or to have weapons. In country as mine, Italy, is very hard to buy weapon as to only normal person. You must have many documents (too many!) as doctor certificate, as real reasons to buy an weapon. Oly few month ago I receved weapons from my father death. But I haven’t right documents and I cannot have these weapons ( hunting rifles) in my home: I must leave these in authorised gun-room. To speak about explosives is almost impossible to have them: only authorised (with many documents) special society can have its! The story of Europe is very different to the story of U.S. : that is the reasons: I think to ‘The birth of a nation’ of griffith; that old film reproduce the ‘american sentiment’. PS: excuse me for my bad english…
